FAQ
Common questions.
How do you bill, and what should I budget per hire?
We bill for the work itself, either at an hourly rate or as a fixed weekly retainer, both of them plannable. A senior hire typically involves around 60 hours of work. We set the exact price and the hours framework in the first conversation, once the scope of your roles is clear.
Who makes the final hiring decision?
You do. We handle the job posting, sourcing, and pre-selection, then hand you the profiles that fit the role. Applications come straight to you, you run the interviews, and you sign the contract. We recommend, you decide.
What happens to the applicant data?
It stays with you, in your system. While we work for you, we are bound by your data protection requirements and by a data processing agreement if you need one. Once the mandate ends, all profiles and data remain solely with you.
How is your model set up, and how does it relate to staff placement?
You remain the employer. We work on your behalf and in your name, and we deliver the recruiting process. You hire, we run the process, and we bill for the work done. Selection, contract, and employment stay with you throughout.
Do you need a license under the Swiss Recruitment Act (AVG), and is that something we have to handle?
No. The Recruitment Act applies to placement and staff leasing, meaning cases where a fee is tied to a signed contract or where personnel are supplied to a third party. We run recruiting operations in your name and bill for the work done, and you do the hiring yourself. That puts the arrangement outside the licensing requirement, so this model carries no risk for you.
How quickly can you get going, and when do we see the first profiles?
We usually start within a few days of the intro call, once the briefing and access are in place. Depending on how scarce the talent is, you will typically see the first profiles within two to three weeks. A clear briefing and quick feedback move things along fastest. That part is in your hands, the rest is on us.
Which systems do you work in, and do we have to introduce anything new?
We work in your ATS, on your channels, and with your hiring managers. There is nothing new for you to introduce. If you do not yet have a system, we set up a lean workflow that belongs to you and stays with you.
Is there a minimum term or any commitment beyond the mandate?
Nothing ties you down beyond the period you agree to. With the hourly model, you pay for the work done. With the retainer, you set the scope each week and adjust it at the end of the period or end it altogether.
How do you maintain confidentiality when it is our name that appears externally?
We act solely under your name. We treat mandates as confidential and never name them as a reference without your approval. We sign a non-disclosure agreement before we start, if that is what you want.
Which roles and industries is your approach suited to?
For specialist and leadership roles you fill on a planned basis, from SMEs to mid-sized firms across German-speaking Switzerland. The approach works across industries, because we deliver the recruiting process. Where your market is very tight, we tell you up front what is realistic.
Where are the limits of what you deliver?
We run the recruiting process in your name and bill for the time we put in. You make the hire yourself, because you stay the employer. We cannot promise a specific placement, because the outcome rests on your decision. The briefing, the selection decision, and feedback sit with you, and we handle every step before that.
